Liposuction In a Nutshell

If you want to improve the contours of your body and achieve a more aesthetic and appealing curvature, liposuction is ideal. Liposuction removes unwanted fat from targeted areas of the body, such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, back, arms, chest or neck – the choice is yours.

Tumescent Liposuction

Blood loss is reduced and intravenous fluid replacement is not necessary. Plus, tumescence magnifies the defects, so you are less likely to need a second procedure.

Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction

There is even less blood loss than with tumescent liposuction. UAL is a popular option for sculpting more sinewy areas, such as the upper back or the male breast.

Prior To Surgery

Have a pre-consult with our patient coordinator to check whether you need liposuction
Consult with our surgeon
Stop using medications with aspirin
Stop smoking prior to surgery.
Stop excesive alcohol. Drink plenty of water.
Get complete list of instructions from your patient coordinator.

The Surgery

Anesthesia(local/general) will be administered by anesthetist. Surgeon will make small incisions , diluted local anesthesia will be injected in treatment area to lower risks of bleeding/trauma. A small cannula will be inserted via incisions. It loosen the excess fat & remove it using syringe or vacuum attached to the cannula. With sutures, incisions will be stitched closed.

After Surgery

Arrange someone to take you home and care for you for at least the first day of the recovery. Keep all of your prescriptions within easy reach. Place plenty of pillows, hand towels and a compress nearby. Do not smoke or drink alcohol to excess for at least one week after the procedure. The recovery process differs for everyone, but a few weeks of discomfort will be worth it for the fantastic improvements.

The Results

You can expect to see fantastic results within six weeks of Liposuction. The treated areas will look toned and supple and your whole body will glow with new-found luster. The treated areas will retain their sculptured appearance as long as you maintain the same weight. If you gain weight, normally it will appear in areas other than those that were treated.
